Penelope L. Froehlich, of Sheboygan, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. She was 75 years old.
Penny was born November 16, 1942 in Sheboygan, the daughter of Arnold and Kathryn (nee Gau) Zittel. After high school, Penny went on to work as an educational assistant in the library at the Early Learning Center. She treasured her time spent reading to the children. She retired June 19, 2009.
In her younger days, Penny played softball, loved to go boating, fishing and deer hunting, raced the Powder Puff Derby at the Plymouth Fairgrounds, enjoyed time on her snowmobile, as well as camping in her motor home. She loved the color pink, riding her Harley and seeing Celine Dion in concert. An avid cat lover, Penny cherished all the pets she had and considered them her family.
Penny is survived by her sisters Judy Walter of IL and Sandra Hed of Plymouth, former brothers-in-law Ed Walter and Dick Hed, nieces and nephews: Julie Hed, Kathy (Jeff) Hed-Ninnig, Rick Hed, Michael (Tania) Walter and Christine England, great-nieces and nephews, dear friend Louise (Michael) Hansen of Sheboygan and other friends and neighbors.
