Mark Steven Sander, age 69, of the Town of Plymouth, passed
away Friday, February 16, 2018, at his home where he was surrounded by his
loving family.
He was born in Plymouth on October 26, 1948, son of the late
Willard and Verona (Feldmann) Sander.
Mark attended local grade schools and later attended Elkhart
Lake High School.
On May 25, 1968, he married Ella Mae Laack at Salem United
Church of Christ in Plymouth.
Mark worked for Oscar Bardon Welding, Holschuh Gravel Pit,
and most recently as an equipment operator in the yard at Kohler Company for 38
years, retiring in 2010.
He enjoyed racing stock cars and later attending the
races. He also enjoyed snowmobiling,
restoring his Oliver 550 tractor, and spending time with his loving family.
Survivors include: His wife: Ella Mae; Two sons: Steven of
Kiel, and Scott (Barb) of rural Plymouth; Two step-granddaughters: Brianna
(Eric) Baesemann and Becca Diestler; Brother: Stanley (Barb) Sander; and
Sisters: Christine (Dick) Fontany, and Sheila (Rich) Solek.
He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and
many friends.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, and brother:
Dwight.
Following Mark’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there
will be no services or visitation.
