Raymond L. Grabowska, 74, of Sheboygan, passed away on
Friday, February 9, 2018 at Sheboygan Health Center surrounded by his
family. He was born April 26, 1943 in
Waukesha to Clarence and Alma (Tessman) Grabowska. Following High School, he attended UW
Whitewater. Raymond proudly joined the US Air Force, and was stationed at RAF
Mildenhall Air station in Suffolk, England serving as a refueling airmen. While there he met and fell in love with
Elaine Jeanette Mower. They were united
in marriage on October 30, 1965 in Mildenhall, England.
Raymond worked as a machinist at Wisconsin Centrifugal, he
was a machinist at Amaron, a school bus driver and truck driver. He was a Jack of all trades. He was a loving husband, father, papa, friend,
uncle “Uncle Elvis”, and brother-in-law. Raymond was always there when you
needed him, he always had a kind word to say, and was strict but fair, and
loyal to a fault.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years Elaine, sons, Wayne
and Barry Grabowska, daughter Nicole (Jeremy) Pfister, five grandchildren;
Dakota, Hannah, and Carter Pfister, Bryan and Koby Lewis, and brothers’ Donald
Grabowska and Lewis (JoAnne) Grabowska.
He was preceded in death by his parents, infant son, and an infant
brother.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 19, 2018
at 7:00 PM at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral & Cremation Care Center, 1201 N. 8
th
St., Sheboygan, with Rev. DuWayne Hanke officiating. Relatives and friends may
visit with the family on Monday, February 19, 2018 from 4:00 PM until the time
of service at the FUNERAL HOME.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established in
Raymond’s name.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the
