Mae Ann Ott
(Nee Manneck), 86, of Plymouth, WI passed away late Wednesday Evening (Jan. 17,
2018) at the Waterford at Plymouth where she had been a resident for the past 5
years.
Mae Ann was
born on October 31, 1931 in Plymouth, Wisconsin a daughter of the late
Arthur and
Emma (Rumpff) Manneck. She graduated from Waldo High School and attended
Business
Institute of Milwaukee.
On October
25, 1952 she married Gilbert H. Ott at St. Thomas Lutheran Church in the Town
of Lima. The
couple farmed in the Town of Lyndon until 1986. She moved to Plymouth in 1989.
Her husband
preceded her in death on October 5, 1986.
Mae Ann was
employed at Borden’s office, at Gilson and Toro for 28 years as Executive
Secretary and at the Wreath Factory office for 15 years.
She was a
lifelong member of St. Thomas Lutheran Church.
Mae was a
Director of Waldo State Bank, belonging to the Plymouth Women’s Club and many
Bridge
Clubs.
Survivors
include: Two daughters; Judy (Ronald) Baldock of Plymouth and Jean Kay Ott (Her
husband:
Richard
Amble) of Summerville, South Carolina. Three grandchildren; Brian (Susannah)
Baldock, Sara (Dan) Baltus and Alex Amble. Two great grandsons: Jaren and Cavin
Baltus and one Great Granddaughter: Brinley Baltus and one sister; Jean
Bohnhoff.
Private
family services will be held at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth.
A memorial
fund is being established in her name for the Alzheimer’s Association or the
American
Heart
Association.
