Ronald C. “Ron” Keller, age 83, of Glenbeulah, WI, passed
away unexpectedly early Monday evening (December 18, 2017) at his home.
He was born on June 3, 1934 in Kewaskum, WI, a son of the
late Alex and Lucille (Radtke) Keller, his mother remarried and Ron was raised
at a young age by his step-father: Harry Ehnert.
Ron attended Kewaskum Grade Schools and attended High
School in Milwaukee.
He served in the United States Army from 1956-1958,
serving in Korea.
On February 7, 1959 he married Eunice Thayer in Dundee,
WI. The couple lived in Parnell for a short time and has resided in Glenbeulah
for the last 57 years.
Ron worked at Kohler Company for 40 years retiring in
1995.
He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Glenbeulah and
a former member of the Glenbeulah Volunteer Fire Department.
He enjoyed gardening, yardwork and cutting firewood and
in his younger years he loved playing softball.
Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years: Eunice of
Glenbeulah; Three Children: Ronald J. Keller of Land O’Lakes, WI, Randy C.
Keller of Glenbeulah, Renee L. Keller of Sheboygan Falls; Three grandchildren:
Keith (Lisa) Keller of Wisconsin Rapids, Adam Schmitz of Howards Grove, Eric
Schmitz of Sheboygan Falls; Two great grandchildren: Maya and Nolan Keller; One
brother: Alexander Keller of Slinger; and One step brother: Delmar Ehnert of
Florida.
He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other
relatives, and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents; One grandson: Phillip
Keller; One brother: James (Betty) Keller; One step-brother: Lloyd Ehnert; One
sister-in-law: Betty (George) Chesak; One brother-in-law: George Thayer; and
His canine companion: Lady.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday afternoon
(December 21, 2017) at 1:00 P.M. at Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Rev.
Donald Johnson, Pastor of Zion Lutheran Church in Glenbeulah will officiate.
Burial will be in Greenbush Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Suchon Funeral Home on
Thursday (Dec. 21) from 11:00 A.M. until the time of services.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established
in Ron’s name for Zion Lutheran Church in Glenbeulah.
