ANAHEIM, CA (WHBL) - Wisconsin crushed Baylor, 69-52, on Thursday night to reach its first NCAA Tournament regional final since 2005. Frank Kaminsky had 19 points, 6 blocks and 4 rebounds as Wisconsin registered 36 points in the paint against the Baylor zone. Ben Brust scored 14 points and pulled down 6 boards, freshman Nigel Hayes added 10 points, while Traveon Jackson and Sam Dekker each scored 7 points. Wisconsin shot at a 51-percent clip from the floor - just the third time in school history the Badgers have made better than 50-percent of their shots in an NCAA Tournament game. The second-seeded Badgers (29-7) will play in a showdown in the regional finale, as the top-ranked Wildcats of Arizona (33-4) outlasted the San Diego State, 70-64. Game time is set for 7:49pm.
