SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - Two Sheboygan residents face misdemeanor charges for stealing scratch off lottery tickets from a Sheboygan gas station to buy illegal prescription drugs.
According to the criminal complaint, 23 year old Andrew Zeier Jr. was able to grab $220 worth of lottery tickets from behind the counter at the Q-Mart in the 2500 block of North Avenue Saturday evening. The person working the counter was not there because he was assisting 19 year old Jessica Schaal at the gas pumps, which was intentional to allow Zeier to make the theft.
When authorities interviewed the two Monday evening, both admitted to the crime with Zeier adding he won $140 from the lottery tickets in order to pay for his Percocet addiction.
Both now face over five years in prison if found guilty of their charges.
