SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - All Sheboygan County workers are currently getting a two percent pay raise in 2014, but some could get more. The county’s Human Resources Committee will discuss Wednesday evening the findings from a consulting firm hired last year to evaluate how the county pays its workers.
On Sheboygan Morning’s News, County Administrator Adam Payne said of the 800 employees that were studied, ten were identified to receive a larger increase. Three of them were found to be eligible to recieve a 20-percent increase. Payne said the odds of the raises being that large are "slim to none", but they will consider "modest adjustments" for those employees.
The county board finalized the two percent across the board pay raise Tuesday evening.
