MADISON, WI (WTAQ) - The search is on for Wisconsin's most ethical hunter.
The state DNR and the La Crosse Tribune have sponsored a award program for the last 16 years, in which a hunter is recognized for helping others.
The DNR is taking nominations for this year's award through January 15th.
The nominees must be licensed hunters -- and their good deeds must have been done during the 2013 hunting seasons in the Badger State.
Nominations can be e-mailed to the DNR's new chief conservation warden, Todd Schaller.
