SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - The cause of a fatal fire in a mobile home in the city of Sheboygan early Wednesday morning has been determined to be careless use of smoking materials, according to Fire Department Shift Commander Gary Kolberg. 39 year old Dawn Bourdeau died in the blaze, which destroyed the trailer in the Indian Meadows Mobile Home Park off of South Business Drive. The mobile home was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived on the scene shortly after midnight. Bourdeau's parents and sister were outside of the structure, but she was found dead inside. Coroner Dave Leffin said Thursday that Bourdeau died of smoke inhalation and multiple burns.
