MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) - The Bucks blew another chance to win back-to-back games for the first time this season, falling at home to Denver Thursday night 101-90. The Nuggets snapped a five-game losing streak, while winning their eighth straight over the Bucks. Denver went up by nine after the first quarter and never looked back. Milwaukee got to within five early in the fourth quarter, but the Nuggets pulled away for their double-digit victory. Kenneth Faried scored a season-high 26 points with six rebounds to lead Denver. Six Milwaukee players scored in double figures, led by Caron Butler with 17. Bucks' guard O-J Mayo returned after missing 10 games with an illness and conditioning issues. He had 11. The Bucks only made 4 of 21 shots from three-point range. The Nuggets shot a solid 51-percent from the floor. Milwaukee dropped to 10-44 on the year. They'll host Indiana Saturday night.
