RANDOM LAKE, WI (WHBL) - The Random Lake School District is working to put a facilities referendum on the fall ballot.
Superintendent Tom Malmstadt, following the school board’s decision Monday evening to hire a consulting firm to assist the district, said the next step is to survey district residents about what improvements they would likely support.
He said the results will help shape the official question on the ballot. Items such as improving outdoor recreation fields and the fitness center, plus expanding the gymnasium areas, will be placed on the ballot based on what the survey results show. He is confident board members will have boiler and roof replacements as part of the referendum no matter what.
Surveys will be mailed out in about a month’s time.
