SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - You will see an increase in your paychecks starting this spring thanks to Governor Walker.
On Sheboygan’s Morning News Monday, state Senator Joe Leibham of Sheboygan said Walker has already made an executive order regarding changes to income tax withholdings. This means the average wage earner will see an additional $50 in their paycheck starting in April. That also means less money will be coming in any tax refund you get starting next year.
This is part of the governor’s “Blueprint for Prosperity” that would also lower property and income taxes. Leibham said those will need legislative approval, and if passed would be in effect with property tax bills issued this December.
