ADELL, WI (WHBL) - It was a busy Friday for the Adell Fire Department as they handled two fire calls.
The first came in just after 10 a.m. when a pickup truck caught fire in a wheat field on Indian Mound Road west of the village. Nearly a dozen other fire units were called to assist, with the fire being put out within an hour’s time. The truck was destroyed, along with a small portion of the crop.
The second call came in around 5:30 p.m. of an RV that caught fire on the 100 block of Wisconsin Avenue in the village. Scanner reports indicated the RV was fully engulfed and a call for assistance was made to nearby units. That would be cancelled as the fire was under control within 20 minutes. No word how badly damaged the RV is.
