MADISON, WI (WHBL) - All but one Sheboygan County school district has a larger percentage of students being proficient in reading and math this school year than the state average.  The state Department of Public Instruction provided achievement test results for all public school districts Tuesday.

For the nine districts based in the county, only Sheboygan had their percentage of student proficiency in the two subjects fall below the state average of 36.6 percent for reading, and 48.6 percent for math.  All other districts finished above, with Kohler having the highest percentages in both subjects.  As for improvements in districts over the past five years, the results are mixed.
