SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - Two women were arrested Friday evening for trying to use a counterfeit $100 bill at several Sheboygan County restaurants.
Scanner reports indicated someone tried to use the fake bill at restaurants in Cedar Grove, Plymouth, and Sheboygan. This led Sheboygan Police to issue a public alert around 5:30pm, warning businesses and residents to be on the lookout for a Chevy HHR, last spotted around Taylor Drive and Highway 23 in Sheboygan. Three hours later, the alert was cancelled after the department located the suspects and took them into custody.
