Brewers Beat Reds

MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) - Starting pitcher Kyle Lohse retired 23 consecutive batters in a 5-1 win over the Cincinnati Reds Friday night.  Lohse (10-9) threw nine solid innings, allowing just four hits, one run and striking out five.  Center fielder Carlos Gomez also had an impressive game, going 3 for 4 with 5 R-B-Is – including a two R-B-I single in the first inning.  Aramis Ramirez left the game in the first inning after being hit by a pitch. Team officials say he suffered a contusion to his left wrist and is listed day-to-day.  The series continues this afternoon.
