SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - The city of Sheboygan’s 2014 budget will be up for a public hearing on Monday. As proposed, the budget totals 52.5-million dollars and is up one percent over the current budget. If approved, it will cost city property owners about a dime more per thousand in property taxes next year, or an increase of about 15 dollars on a $150,000 home. That’s for city services only, not including the school, county, or state tax. The city council convenes at 7 o’clock and will call for public input on the budget shortly after.
