SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - The State Supreme Court conducted business in the Sheboygan County Courthouse Thursday. It’s part of the court’s outreach initiative to connect with communities around the state.
Chief Justice Shirley Abrahamson told a packed courtroom that they chose Sheboygan County because it has been a leader in initiating programs to make the courts more efficient and accessible.
Sheboygan Attorney Christopher Eipert then welcomed the audience, expressing it was an honor to have the State Supreme Court in Sheboygan and a great chance for local residents to see the court in action.
Chief Justice Abrahamson then convened the court which began hearing arguments on two ground-breaking cases involving police using cell phone data without a warrant.
