MADISON, WI (WHBL) - The Wisconsin Badger basketball team - led by center Frank Kaminsky's 21 points - knocked off Oral Roberts, 76-67 Saturday night. Wisconsin started quickly, building a 17 point lead in the first half, but Oral Roberts went on a 9-0 run to get back in the game before halftime. Oral Roberts pulled to within four points with just over 3 minutes left in the game after a three-point play by Shawn Glover, who finished with 24 points. But the Badgers hung on for the victory, hitting a perfect 8 of 8 from the free throw line in the game's final minutes. Guard Traevon Jackson, who finished with 11 points, hit four free throws in the final minute. With the victory, the Badgers are now a perfect 6-0 on the season. That matches their best start ever under coach Bo Ryan. Five Badgers scored in double figures, including Josh Gasser with 15 points and Ben Brust with 12. UW will now head to Mexico to take on Saint Louis in a semifinal of the Cancun Challenge on Tuesday night.
