Milwaukee Bucks now say that a miscommunication with the N-B-A

(WNFL) - The Milwaukee Bucks now say that a miscommunication with the N-B-A was at least partially why the team's new floor had to be taken out of commission.  Bucks' vice-president John Steinmiller tells the Journal Sentinel that the team wanted a satin finish on its new floor -- but the league assumed it was using something else.  N-B-A spokesman Tim Frank confirmed the misunderstanding.  An exhibition game on October 25th never made it past the first quarter because so many players from the Bucks and Toronto were slipping.  It's not known when the new floor will be ready.  The Bucks heavily promoted the floor to help promote their new season.  It's inspired by the much-beloved Robert Indiana design from 1977 on which the Bucks won a string of playoff games through the late 1980's.  Once it returns, fans will see two large "M's" across the new floor -- similar to the Indiana design.   In the meantime, the Bucks will use their old floor at the B-M-O Harris Bradley Center.  Milwaukee hosts Cleveland tonight.
