MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) - Taking two out of three games in a weekend series at Miller Park, the Pittsburgh Pirates are still just 10-47 in Milwaukee over the last six seasons. The Pirates built a four-run lead behind lefty Wandy Rodriguez, then had to hold off the rallying Brewers by a 5-4 score on Sunday. It was the fourth straight win for Rodriguez. Pedro Alvarez followed Saturday's two-homer game with a big two-run double. The Pirates lit up Milwaukee starter Yovani Galladro for four runs in four innings of work. He took his fifth loss in eight decisions. Ryan Braun’s bases-loaded double in the fifth cut the lead to 4-3. Pittsburgh got a run on a sacrifice fly in the sixth and Milwaukee scored the same way in the eighth. Jason Grilli pitched a scoreless ninth and picked up his 20th save. The Brewers will host Minnesota at Miller Park this afternoon. Pregame coverage on WHBL begins at 12:35.
