MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) - Clayton Kershaw tossed a three-hitter Monday night, as the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Milwaukee Brewers 3-1 at Miller Park. The lanky left-hander walked one and struck out five, as he reduced his Major League-leading E-R-A to 1.35.  It was Kershaw’s 10th career complete game.  It could not have come at a better time for Dodgers’ manager Don Mattingly, amid talk that he could be fired if his Dodgers don’t sweep the Brewers this week. The two teams had the same record coming in, 17-25.  L-A was swept by Atlanta during the weekend, while last night’s Milwaukee loss dropped the Crew to 3-15 this month.  Yovani Gallardo took the loss, giving up all three Dodger runs over six innings, on eight hits with a walk and seven strikeouts. Gallardo is now 3-4.  Norichika Aoki drove home the Brewers’ only run on a groundout.  Ryan Braun singled twice, and Yuniesky Betancourt singled for Milwaukee’s only other hit. Jean Segura went 0 for 4, but he still leads the National League with a .355 batting average. Kershaw is now 3-0 in his last six starts. He has allowed three runs or less in 22 straight outings, the fourth-longest string of its kind in L-A Dodgers’ history. Tonight, former Brewer Zack Greinke starts against his old team. He’s 15-0 lifetime at Miller Park. Rookie Hiram Burgos will start for Milwaukee.  Coverage on WHBL begins at 6:35.
