Suspects hold up credit union

SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - Sheboygan Police are continuing their investigation of the armed robbery which occurred Thursday afternoon at the United One Credit Union on Superior Avenue. Captain Steve Cobb said the surveillance video is up on the Police Department website at www.sheboyganpolice.com. It shows the two masked suspects, one of them with a gun, demanding money.  Cobb said one suspect is a black male wearing dark clothing with white and black stripes on the cuffs and at the waste.  He was also wearing black and white tennis shoes and a baseball cap and displayed a black semi-automatic pistol and escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash.  The second suspect is white wearing a black Nike coat with a hood with the word Nike written on the back.  Cobb said the suspects fled in a gold or tan colored mid-2000's Chevrolet Impala or Malibu with tinted windows, silver wheels, and no front plate.  A vehicle matching that description was captured on a DOT camera on I-43 and Highway 28.  Cobb said some clothing items have been recovered on the roadside at County OK just south of Highway V.  He said anyone passing that area who may have seen the car on the shoulder or people disrobing outside of the car has been asked to contact the Sheboygan Police Department.  Police are asking for the public's assistance in identifying either the suspects or the owner of the vehicle.
