SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - A Sheboygan man was seriously injured this morning when his SUV left I-43 just north of the city of Sheboygan and rolled over in a field. The Sheriff’s Department said 55 year old Chao Yang was partially ejected and flown from the scene to Theda Clark Hospital in Neenah by Flight for Life. Sgt. Blaine Spicer said Yang may have fallen asleep or suffered some type of medical condition. He said witnesses reported the southbound vehicle begin to swerve from side to side and then veered off the interstate, through a fence line and into a field where it rolled three times. Yang was wearing his seatbelt. Spicer said the southbound lanes of the interstate were shutdown for about an hour causing a traffic backup all the way to the Manitowoc County line.
