SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - Just two weeks after the new Sheboygan City Council was sworn in, two aldermen have submitted their resignations. 1st District Alderman Todd Wolf stepped down after accepting a new position out of state, and 6th District Alderman Jeremy Dekker indicated in an e-mail that he is resigning due to conflicts caused by life and career changes. City Attorney Steve McLean said the council will now elect successors and then could hold a special election to fill the seats or wait until the next regular election which would be next April. Anyone interested should send a letter and biographical information to the city clerk. The council would then elect the new alderpersons when they meet again in June.
