SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - A Sheboygan radio personality is headed for Hawaii. WHBL’s Kevin Zimmermann is retiring after 37 years with WHBL and joined Kelly Meyer on WHBL’s Sheboygan’s Morning News this morning. Kevin and wife Kim will be on a plane to Hawaii on Monday. He will continue pursuing interests in music and production after 37 years with WHBL, most of them doing the morning show, and the last 12 years as head of production. Kevin says when he began in radio, everything was on audio tape, there was no satellite and no computers. Gerald Ford was president and over the years the Pope and Ronald Reagan were both shot while Kevin was on the air and Mount St. Helens blew up. We’ll miss him and wish him all the best. Happy Trails Kevin. (The full interview is attached above.)
