SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - A Milwaukee area couple has now been formally charged with passing counterfeit one-hundred dollar bills at businesses around Sheboygan last week. 28 year old Abraham Scull and 18 year old Krystal Witek are facing numerous counts of forgery. They were arrested last Friday after they attempted to pass one of the bills at Hobby Lobby in the Memorial Mall. Police stopped their car at New Jersey and Taylor a short time later and found 23 fake one-hundred dollar bills. The two had allegedly passed two of the bills at the Piggly Wiggly in Oostburg and attempted to do the same in Sheboygan at the southside Wal-Mart, Shopko, and Bed, Bath and Beyond. Witek was identified through surveillance video. Scull and Witek are facing up to 6 years in prison on each count.
