The Packers did not ask 6 year veteran Jermichael Finley to restructure his contract by Monday's deadline so the tight end will return this fall at a salary of 8.25 million dollars. A three million dollar roster bonus will be paid to Finley today. He caught a tight end franchise record 61 passes last year, more than half over the final six weeks of the season but averaged a career low 10.9 yards per reception. Head Coach Mike McCarthy has said Finley has grown up a lot in the last year and will be a vital piece in his offensive plan this year, especially with Greg Jennings now a Minnesota Viking.
