Brad Jones is coming back to the Pack. The veteran linebacker who tested free agent waters this spring, even visiting Tennessee, has signed a new contract to return to the Packers. Terms of the deal weren't disclosed. The former 7th round pick out of Colorado did a decent job stepping in for the injured Desmond Bishop and D.J. Smith last season to play alongside A.J. Hawk inside. Jones played well enough to assume the role of nickel linebacker on passing downs. The signing will increase competition for playing time this fall as Robert Francois has also re-signed, Hawk agreed to a restructured contract and both Bishop and Smith are due to return from injury.
