The Milwaukee Bucks blitzed the Portland Trailblazers in the second quarter, outscoring them 31-8 on their way to a 102-95 victory at the BMO Harris Bradley Center Tuesday night. The Bucks led by 27 at the half but had to hang on as the Blazers mounted a second half comeback. Brandon Jennings led the way with 24 points, Monta Ellis chipped in with 21. The Bucks improved to 34-32 and have a solid hold on the 8th and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference but they are within two and a half games of Atlanta for the fifth position. Milwaukee plays the Hawks in Atlanta tonight.
