MADISON, WI (WTAQ) - In an unusual move, the Wisconsin Assembly passed the proposed two-year state budget without much of a debate. The abrupt vote was 55-42. The NFL has awarded their compensatory draft picks to teams that lost free agents last year and the Green Bay Packers will get one additional choice in next month's college player draft. Green Bay lost free agents Scott Wells to the Rams and Matt Flynn to the Seahawks, but they also signed veteran center Jeff Saturday. As a result, the Packers will get their extra pick in the 5th round, the 167th overall choice.
