Man hospitalized after knife incident

SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - A Sheboygan man is facing charges after injuring himself with a knife at a Sheboygan residence on Wednesday.  Captain Jim Veeser said police responded to a 911 call to the 1100 block of Erie Avenue shortly after five o’clock.  He said they found a 46 year old male in a state of crisis with a knife and puncture wounds to his throat.  Veeser said the man advanced toward the officers with the knife saying “kill me."  He said officers were able to grab the man’s arm and remove the knife.  The man was then taken to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee.  Veeser said the man had apparently injured himself during an argument with a woman at the residence.  He said the case has been referred to the District Attorney.
