Kyle Lohse finally got some run support, as he gave up three runs on eight hits in seven innings. He struck out three and walked nobody, as Lohse won his second straight decision and improved to 3-6. Edwin Jackson took the loss, giving up six runs in four-and-two-thirds frames. He’s now 3-10. Nate Schierholtz belted a three-run homer for Chicago, which has lost six of its last nine overall, and nine straight in Milwaukee. A slumping Starlin Castro took the night off for the Cubbies, ending baseball’s second-longest consecutive games’ streak with 269. The Brewers and Cubs will play again tonight at Miller Park.
