MADISON, WI (WHBL) - Sheboygan County’s delegation in the state assembly split in their votes when the state budget was approved yesterday. Representative Steve Kestell of Elkhart Lake voted “no”, saying he couldn’t justify having 90 non-fiscal policy items in it. Dan LeMahieu of Cascade voted in favor, saying it gives back to the taxpayers for the first time in a long time. He called it one of the largest income tax cuts in state history. Mike Endsley of Sheboygan said he was proud to support the budget. Endsley said it’s great news for taxpayers and will continue to move the state forward.
