MADISON, WI (WTAQ) - The Powerball jackpot has hit $100 million for the first time in a month.
Nobody won the top prize on Saturday night, so it goes up to $105 million for Wednesday.
Nobody from Wisconsin won the 2nd or 3rd prizes. Four state players won $200 each by buying the Power Play and matching three regular numbers plus the Powerball.
Just over 10,000 tickets sold in Wisconsin won something. Saturday’s numbers were 28, 36, 40, 48, and 55. The Powerball was 1.
Wednesday’s cash option is just under $64 million. The jackpot is the biggest since May 18th, when a player in Florida won $590.5 million – the second-biggest prize in world lottery history.
The current jackpot has been building since June 1st, and has rolled over five times.
In Mega Millions, the top prize is at $36 million for Tuesday night.
