SHEBOYGAN,WI (WHBL) - Five people, ranging in age from 23 to 40, are facing felony charges of retail theft following their arrest on Thursday night in the city of Sheboygan. Two men and two women from Chicago and a Sheboygan man were formally charged on Friday after Sheboygan Police were contacted by a loss prevention officer from the southside Wal-Mart, who said she was watching two black males and two black females leaving the store with unpaid merchandise, which they placed in the trunk of a car. Officers stopped the car as it was leaving the parking lot and found two duffel bags in the trunk stuffed with clothing, which still had the tags on and was valued at nearly eight hundred dollars. The four Chicagoans were charged with retail theft while the Sheboygan man, who was driving the car, is facing a charge of party to the crime.
