SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - The identity of the body recovered from Lake Michigan Monday is that of a Sheboygan male missing for the past three weeks. Sheboygan Sheriff’s Department Lieutenant Chad Broeren said a joint investigation with Sheboygan Police determined the body as that of 39 year old Brian Behrensprung.
He was last seen June 25 by Piggly Wiggly on South Business Drive, and was reported missing two days later. The county’s Water Safety Unit and Dive Team recovered the body a mile east of Blue Harbor Resort just after 10 a.m. Monday.
Broeren said an autopsy determined no foul play is suspected in Behensprung’s death.
