SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - Area motorists who use North 14th Street on a daily basis might want to find an alternative route tomorrow. Lieutenant Doug Teunissen of the Sheboygan Police Department said a nearby construction project will force both northbound lanes between Superior Avenue and Michigan Avenue to be closed for a significant portion of the daytime hours.
Traffic on the street will be reduced to one lane in both directions around this area. The department will use signs and cones to indicate this, and may use officers to alleviate congestion if necessary. The time of these lane restrictions is currently scheduled between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m., but it could be extended depending on how work progresses.
Teunissen says the best advice for motorists would be to avoid this area during these hours.
