SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - A Sheboygan teen is scheduled to be sentenced next week for causing damage to a Sheboygan mentoring center last October. Online court records show 18-year-old Dakota Hanson changes his pleas from not guilty to no contest in Sheboygan County Court Wednesday. This allowed Judge Angela Sutkiewicz to find him guilty of criminal damage and trespassing.
Hanson was one of two teenage males arrested following the discovery of damage done inside a building on Michigan Avenue. Over $3,700 worth of electrical equipment and furniture were damaged due to blue paint and apple juice poured over them. Hanson is scheduled to be sentenced July 11.
The other suspect in the case, 16 year old Jordan Hansen of Sheboygan, was sentenced in March for his role in the crime.
