The Marquette Golden Eagles got a career high 30 points from Junior guard Vander Blue in defeating South Florida at the Bradley Center Monday night 63-50. Blue was 13 of 20 from the field and scored 11 points in 21-4 run at the end of the first half and start of the second that put the game away. The Golden Eagles held the Bulls to 27 percent shooting for the game. The victory puts Marquette at 6-1 in the Big East, tied for first place with Syracuse. The Golden Eagles are 15-4 overall and have a tough test on Sunday at 12th ranked Louisville.
