SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) - A Sheboygan man described as a “graffiti artist” has been ordered to stand trial in Sheboygan County Court. 21 year old Lukas Bagemehl was back in court yesterday and waived a preliminary hearing and then pled not guilty to a felony graffiti charge. Judge James Bolgert set a trial date in March. Bagemehl was arrested two weeks ago after police executed a search warrant at his home on Kohls Court. Police say he may be responsible for painting public and private property as far back as 2007 with some damage estimates as high as $40,000. The break in the case came when Bagemehl’s former landlord showed police graffiti on the walls in the basement of a home where he formerly lived. Bagemehl is currently free on $750 cash bail.
