BABCOCK, WI (WTAQ) - If you ever wanted to know more about porcupines, you’ll soon get your chance.
The state DNR will hold a porcupine ecology clinic on February 2nd at the Sandhill Outdoor Skills Center near Babcock, west of Wisconsin Rapids.
Experts will discuss the results almost 20 years of research on porcupines at the Sandhill Wildlife Area. Those attending the seminar will then put on snow-shoes and visit the animals’ winter hideouts.
You have to be at least 12 to take part, and the first 20 applicants will get in. The deadline to register is January 23rd.
