Former Sheboygan South star Jake Schwartz was named the Player of the Year in the Northern Athletics Conference Tuesday. The Lakeland senior led the league in scoring at 22.2 points a game, he also averaged 9.9 rebounds a night for the Muskies, who captured the NAC North Division Title and reached the conference tournament championship game before falling to Aurora last Saturday. Schwartz also became Lakeland's all-time leading scorer this season. He was joined on the NAC first team by Justin Ward. James Oshkeshquam was named honorable mention and Brandon Hagenow was named to the All-Freshman team. For the Lakeland women, Becky Mayo was named to the first team and Leah Eisner was a 2nd team all conference selection.
