The Lakeland Muskies advanced to the Northern Athletics Conference championship game by defeating Concordia of Wisconsin 69-68 Tuesday night at Woltzen Gymnasium. It was a tight battle throughout and Lakeland trailed by four points with 1:59 to play but Brandon Hagenow dropped in two free throws with :07 left. The defense forced an errant shot and Lakeland moved on. Justin Ward led the Muskies (22-5) with 20 points. Lakeland will host Aurora college, the NAC South Division winner in the title game at Woltzen Saturday afternoon at 2:00 PM. Aside the the conference title, the winner will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA III national tournament.
