SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) - A Cleveland teen was hospitalized Thursday morning after being trapped in his car for nearly two hours. The Sheriff’s Department said 16 year old Caleb Senkbeil lost control of his car on County LS near Whistling Straits in the town of Mosel about 7:30am. Lt. Mark Rupnik said the car slid sideways on the snow covered road and hit a bridge railing on the driver’s side. Rupnik said the rail punctured the car, which ended up in a precarious position over a deep embankment. Rescuers had to proceed cautiously and were finally able to free Senkbeil. He was taken to Sheboygan Memorial with leg injuries.
