SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - Winter arrived in just one afternoon on Sunday. Two to four inches of snow fell throughout the afternoon, turning the brown December landscape into a winter wonderland. Lt. Jason Liermann of the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department urges people to slow down this morning. He said roads are snow-covered and slippery. Liermann said there were about a dozen calls of vehicles in the ditch or minor crashes since the snow began Sunday afternoon. One of those accidents occurred about 3:30pm when a pickup truck driven by 48 year old Michael Prinsen, of Oostburg, slid through the intersection of Highway 57 and County A at Adell and slammed into the side of a semi. A passenger, 54 year old Sabrina Prinsen, was taken to Sheboygan Memorial with non-life threatening injuries.
