(WNFL) - The U-W Milwaukee women dropped to 2-and-5, after losing at home to North Dakota yesterday 78-to-66. The Panthers held their annual game for elementary-and-middle school students, and the crowd of 35-hundred was the third-largest ever to see a U-W-M women's contest. It was tied at 52 in the second before North Dakota pulled away with a 12-2 run. Four players scored in double figures for the Fighting Sioux, led by Madi Buck with 18. She also had 10 rebounds. Angela Rodriguez led Milwaukee with 21 points and six assists. North Dakota had a 17-to-6 edge in points off turnovers, as it improved to 3-and-2. U-W-M's next game is on Sunday at Bowling Green.
