WALDO, WI (WHBL) - The president of the village of Waldo has resigned and the Village Board has called a special meeting for next Tuesday to possibly name a successor. Lisa Reich-Hagenow had been elected in a recall election in August of 2010 and then was re-elected twice. However, she told WHBL News that she has resigned for personal reasons. Reich-Hagenow said she needs to devote more time to her business and her family and doesn’t have the time needed to do a good job as village president. She said she enjoyed the time that she served. She said Village Clerk John Port has also submitted his resignationbut, by statute, he is required to stay on the job until a replacement is found.
