CINCINNATI, OH (WHBL) - Rookie left fielder Khris Davis hit a pair of two-run homers to lift the Milwaukee Brewers past the Cincinnati Reds Friday night, 6-4. Davis was called up after Ryan Braun’s season-ending suspension and says he’s just “having fun with it." Davis hit a two-run home run in the sixth and eighth innings. Starting pitcher Yovani Gallardo threw for six innings, allowing three runs - two earned - and striking out 5. He allowed a two-run homer in the fourth, before Rob Wooten stepped in. Wooten picked up the win - his second of the season. Closer Jim Henderson earned his 20th save of the season. The two teams meet again tonight. Pregame coverage on WHBL begins at 5:35.
